ABOUT THE PROJECT

Xensam is an AI-powered Software Asset Management platform helping enterprises gain full visibility over their software ecosystem. Despite having a strong product, its positioning didn’t fully reflect the real value it delivers.

The project focused on identifying the gap between how the product was being communicated and how customers actually experienced its value.

Instead of starting from design, we analyzed the existing messaging, competitor landscape and customer testimonials.

A clear pattern emerged:

While the product offered visibility, compliance and control, customers were ultimately valuing something else.

Financial impact.

Recovered budgets.
Unused licenses.
Cost savings.

This insight became the foundation for the new positioning.

CHALLENGES

The main challenge wasn’t the product. It was how it was being framed.

The homepage was speaking primarily to IT teams, focusing on technical capabilities and system features.

However, the actual decision-maker was different.

The person signing the contract was the CFO.

This created a disconnect between the product’s value and how it was communicated.

At the same time, competitors were using nearly identical messaging:

Visibility
Compliance
Control

This made differentiation difficult and reduced the perceived impact of the product.

The challenge was to reframe the narrative without changing the product itself.

A shift in perspective can redefine the entire product story.

By repositioning Xensam around financial impact instead of technical features, the brand now speaks directly to the buyer who matters most.

The new direction focuses on clarity, transparency and control, both in messaging and visual language.

A refined system built around layers, glass and data structures reinforces the idea of making the invisible visible.

Same product.
Same capabilities.

A completely different conversation.
