Reframing an energy drink from physical stimulation to mental clarity and cultural focus

Reframing an energy drink from physical stimulation to mental clarity and cultural focus

(Context)

Rito is an energy drink designed to challenge traditional categories dominated by intensity, performance, and physical stimulation.

Despite entering a saturated market, the brand needed a clearer narrative to stand out beyond product features.

(Approach)

We repositioned the brand around mental focus as a cultural and creative state.

The identity moves away from aggressive energy drink tropes, building a more refined and intentional visual system that reflects clarity, rhythm, and control.

(Outcome)

Category shift

From high-energy performance drink to a brand centered on mental clarity and focus

Brand language

From aggressive and loud to controlled, cultural, and visually refined
